This course is designed for all workers in the construction industry, as it covers a wide variety of common construction safety and health topics (the 29 CFR 1926 standards). Participants will be trained to recognize, abate and prevent hazards in the workplace. The program also provides information regarding workers’ rights, employer responsibilities, and an overview of OSHA standards.
Participants will be issued a temporary certificate (valid for 60 days) and will receive an OSHA Outreach Training card by mail 30-60 days after completing the course. Training cards have no expiration date, however some companies or general contractors may require employees to renew their OSHA 10 certifications every 3-5 years.
